Alicia asked me to come to photograph their family for some their Christmas cards. We chatted a bit about doing a mini shoot with the goal of a portrait of their family of five. But as the session day drew closer, it became clear that what Alicia was really after was more a documentary family session. The plan evolved to me coming to capture them decorating cookies and a gingerbread house! I had a great time watching them kick off their Christmas season. When Alicia saw the photos for the first time she exclaimed “You captured a moment in our life!” Success!
